My son is graduating from Basic Training in March. What is appropriate to wear for Family Day? Jeans? Something nicer? I know graduation day is a "something nicer" event, but for Family Day I'm at a loss. Thanks for any and all advice!!!

Just casual wear like you would to a picnic. Nothing too slutty unless you like drill sergeants.

It personal preference. Some women wear colorful dresses, some actually wear "Greens" military shirts and pants. Of course they leave a few buttons up top unbuttoned. It all look good. Especially when a guy been away from a good woman for a while. Nothing has to happen, but, he get the feeling everything still work, and, nothing shriveled up and died.
OK, my woman say to explain better. I not sure how, just not dress like a "ho" just think. I believe a dress look good, something where the sunlight do its thing? It a guy thing. I remember when I was young and in the Air Force, it like the day of the Mommas. Hard to explain. Just do not let another momma beat you out of "Best Momma" ;-) Just DO NOT do a "ho" look, OK?

There's no dress code for graduation or family day - you can wear what you normally wear and feel comfortable in. I've seen lots of people wearing jeans and T-shirts to graduation day. It's not a big deal.

A friend of mine whom I know from re-enacting graduated a couple of years ago.... his re-enacting friends went to graduation in their period uniforms. That was actually pretty funny....

for kinfolk day positioned on some thing a sprint dressier than casual and on commencement day i might positioned on a sunlight gown or some thing dressy yet no longer over the staggering. i wore black capris with a crimson lacy halter staggering whilst my hubby graduated from his pastime training i did no longer understand him whilst he graduated from common. in my photograph that replaced into his airborne grad. my buddy and that i went overboard and went out and purchased relatively lovable outfits and stilletos. yet to be trustworthy the guy would not care what you place on.
