My wrist tat was almost totally painless. It seemed to heal much faster than the rest of them too. Right above the palm was the most painful, but that still wasn't bad.

I have a tattoo on the inside of my wrist, i must say it's the best place if you don't want everyone to know you have it (professionals, job wise) but what some people don't know is where ever there's the most fat, or chunkiest area, it's not going to be that bad. For example, I'm a chunky woman, which seemed odd to me, I had no pain at all..My cousins were amazed...

I just got my right wrist done this past weekend, and yeah it def hurt more the closer it got to the hand, and i seem to be scabbing more then any other tattoo but im only scabbing where the veins are and the guy who tattood me has a heavier hand compared to the girl thats tattood me in the past. like was said before you know you already want a tattoo there i would just say go for it and yeah most def keep it small especially if your a female because i got a cluster of flowers and it looks really cute.

A tattoo is going to be painful no matter where you get it, although some places do hurt more than others. My advice is don't think about the pain. An hour or two of pain is worth a lifetime of a tattoo that you're happy with:)

I have both wrists tattooed and I would say that near the hand is incredibly painful...almost as bad as the elbow!!! I am a man, though. Women have higher pain thresholds than us weak men! Pregnancy etc. I would say the pain is 9 out of 10. You can do it!!!!

Breathe regularly and deeply. It will hurt.

For me it was more of an annoyance than a pain. It seemed to heal faster than the one on my lower back also. Make sure that you take very good care of it, I kept mine covered until it was healed. Your hands can get dirty quick depending on what you do. Just be careful and keep it clean. What are you planning on getting on your wrist ? The right tat on your wrist looks very cute if done well. Good Luck !!

Or maybe your just tuffer than me...Go for it!....ss

Everybody is different. My wrist was uncomfortable, but yet a know someone who cried when they were getting theirs done... You could read stories like this forever, you obviously want it done, so just go do it.... I haven't looked back since getting my first tattoo, they are very addictive... Good luck! :)

the closer the bone is to the surface of the skin the more painful the tattoo. advise: get a couple of temporary tats. and put them where you want the real thing for a few weeks you will be surprised at some of the places that a tattoo will bug you when your noticing it out of the corner of your eye all the time!!
