I used to have anorexia, although I'm in recovery right now...
though I remember... and wonder, how my family and friends felt when they were watching me with that disorder.

Have you ever known someone who was anorexia or bulimic? How did you feel then?

help?

yes myself.I wandered how noone could know I had it .Till finally my sister noticed I had pants falling off me ,and a boyfriend that said if I didnt stop he would leave me .So I guess I was saved by that .Its hard when you get older to get over it .You still have problems with eating off and on .Eating disorders are no fun and if you need help you should get it .

Yeah, my friend was annorexic (and the RARE occasions when her peers made her eat, she'd be bulimic and throw it up)
I remember being SO worried about her... It was really hard to watch her struggle with it...She got so thin...and so frail, it was scary...
I'm really happy that you're in recovery now... I know in today's society its "better to be thin" but just remember to love yourself for who you are... theres no problem in losing weight, but just go around it the right way.
Good luck!

I felt like it was all my fault. My friend had it and it was like watching her cut herself or something. It's so distructive. I always thought "was it something I did or said?" "could I have done something?" I felt horrible and was always worrying about her health. She was getting skinnier and it was working, but it was killing her. I felt like the worst friend. Then I had to realize that I had tried everything and there was nothing I could do to help unless she was willing to help herself. I waited for her to come to me, I still felt horrible a couple years afterward, watching everything I did and said so she wouldn't go back.
