There is such pain in that question, and I just don’t know what to do. You need a friend. Is there anyone who you can talk to? Do you go to church? If you don’t, you should. You can find someone to talk to there. If not at one church, try another. You should also read the book of Job. If anyone ever had a rough time in life, it was Job, but as things turned out, Job had a purpose, and all that Job lost was restored.
Don’t let the bumps get you down. What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger. Attack this problem as if it were a challenging game of strategy. See your problem as a worthy adversary, but laugh because you will win.
You should also watch the movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life” again.

You have a purpose Lynne. I know it doesn't seem like you do at this moment, but you remain here for a very important reason. Seek God's guidance through prayer all the more during this season in your life. Read Ecclesiastes 3.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

Of course you do have a purpose!! and a great one!
God created you for a reason. He has a purpose for your life. I used to feel how you do now, until i realized that the enemy will try to put things in your heart to make you feel worthless or useless. But you need to recognize that its a lie. So dont believe it coz its not true. Its just his way of keeping you from becoming the person that Gods wants you to be. God loves you and you are definitely unique. Pray and ask God to help you. Hes crazy about you :-) You definitely have a purpose , just submit to God and be cheerful . believe in yourself , trust in the Lord and you will know what a threat you can be to the enemy:-)God bless u!

There is a difference between your "perceived purpose" and your actual purpose. I should have died atleast 7 times. I have atleast 2 left. I am still trying to figure things out. If we had all of the answers life would be extremely boring. Your time will come, find a hobby, pursue an education, have a couple of kids and your purposes will become more apparent.

You have a purpose. You made me happy with your question. God loves you.
I have asked the same question of God, even though I am highly educated, respected in the community and go to a conservative, Bible-believing church (Calvary Chapel), and I love to study the Bible. I have a very personal relationship with the Lord. BUT, we are all fallible beings. We get discouraged. My Pastor will sometimes admit that he asks God "Lord, take me now." He is very well-known the world over. Everyone laughs knowingly when he says this, because nearly everyone feels this way once or another.
Hang in there.

Well, if you're still here, you're obviously meant to do something else. In all realness, if you really do feel this way, you need to go talk to a therapist. God is great and all but there are people right here that can help you through whatever you're going through.
Maybe if you get some help and get through this, you can help other people who feel this way too. We all have at some point. That could be your purpose, to help others. You never know. Something great might be around the corner so don't check out just yet.

You have a purpose, you may have misplaced it temporally, but you have one. You main purpose is to live fully and become the best You that you and only you can be. You are part of the whole. Like the body, all parts are important and the body would not be the same without even one of them. If you are depressed for some reason please talk to someone, a minister, priest, friend or professional.

you do have a purpose in this world. everyone does. sometimes a persons purpose may not be for themselves though. it may be to help others or show someone an example of wrong. God will take you when he's ready. It's all in His plan.

Our perceptions seem absolutely real to us, but they're not always so. Our emotions sometimes feel so accurately, but they're not always so either. Sometimes we feel like sh*t, but feeling like this doesn't confirm anything except that we feel sad.
(HUGS!!) You have a purpose, you just don't perceive it right now. You are here because your work isn't done. Trust me, when your time comes for God to bring you to Him, you will go, and nothing in the universe will stop it.
Emotions aren't always accurate, they're fickle, so don't trust them to measure something. You have a purpose, pray to God that you find it.
I do recommend that you seek help. You seem depressed to be thinking like this. Been there, done that, I've suffer from depression for 29 years, even attempted suicide once. It was like a lifetime ago. It wasn't my time, 'cause I'm still here. When I awoke from the coma, boy oh boy, was I HAPPY that my life was spared!!!
Please, keep on plugging. Never give up on yourself, because you have a lovely purpose. (HUGS!!!)

Hang in there. Just by asking that question has served a purpose of helping some of us to ask that same question about ourselves.
However, if you would like to know your purpose, God's purpose for you, you will not find it by listening to Religious Empires who claim that God has a special purpose for each of us. (God never said such a thing, Jesus never said such a thing.)
However both God and Jesus have the same purpose for all of us, and it is quite simple;
"get along with each other"
Harmony is harmony; disharmony is the only sin against God.
