Well did you ever and stop and think that everyone may not love God? If you don't believe me read "Paradise Lost" by Milton, it explores the fact that some people rather be in Hell than be in Heaven with God. After you read it makes sense.

Personally, I don't believe in God. However, the entire "right religion" idea is ludacris. Every religion, all of the millions of them, is screeching and shouting about how all the other religions are wrong and only they will go to heaven. My feeling is, if you are truly religious, in theory, whether you are mormon or catholic, God will recognize that and take you to heaven.
However, I am a firm believer that men are basically evil, and with no fear of punishment, would abandon all morals. Would God truly create, and love, people who are "good" only to escape the feiry depths of Hell?
If you do not believe me, imagine that you found a ring, and when you put on that ring, you and everything you wore or held became invisible, and you made no sound (or whatever was needed)? What would you do? The majority of people immediately think of taboo situations where suddenly getting caught isn't a problem, and what they would do, whether it be gain revenge, rob a bank, steal a car, or watch that hot neighbor take a shower. But did you think, "Oh, I could help little old ladies without gaining any recognition whatsoever"?
I thought not.
Even if there was a heaven, and I find it less likely than that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, I wouldn't want to go anyway, because it would be full of goody-two shoes, and I wouldn't have any fun! And the idea of paradise for everyone is entirely oxymoronic. If you like summer and I like winter, and in paradise it is sunny and warm, then I'm not happy, am I?

Because people refuse to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They would rather keep living a heathen lifestyle than to live for God. He offers us a free gift of everlasting life. It is up to us if we accept it or not. God is a very loving God, but He is also a very Holy God and demands obedience from us. Those who can live by His words get to go to Heaven. This is what it means by "many will be called" but few will be chosen. We are all called, but only the ones who choose to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ by being born again, also known as being saved, will be chosen. It is because they have asked Jesus into their hearts and when they get convicted by the Holy Spirit, they follow instead of run. They want to be with Jesus. They want to obey God and they do what God calls them to do. Anyone can know if they are going to Heaven or not just by being saved. I am saved and on my way to Heaven. You can be too. Here are some verses.
John 3:3, 3:16
Acts 3:19
Romans 3:23, 10:9
Psalm 139
And there are many more. God Bless and I hope you are saved or get saved soon.
Here is a website that tells alot more about this subject.

It isn't and God doesn't always love everyone. If you're asking why do people who believe in an all loving God also believe that some people will suffer eternally in a place called Hell, well, that's a different question. But basically because people are sometimes conflicted and blind themselves to their own faults and shortcomings.

Honestly I believe if you treat everyone well and do good things, love God and act like he would want you to act then you are going to Heaven. I just can't believe because one person calls their religion one thing and another calls it something else but in all logistics they are the same thing that only one group will make it to heaven.

Because sin covers all people. The only way to heaven is accepting and acknowledging God's son, Jesus Christ, as a needed saviour. We have a free will to accept it or reject it. We choose our own fate, though God wishes for no one to be lost.

I'm fairly certain the answer will go something like this for many people, "God loves you. He was calling you, but you didn't listen."
Except there were people around before christianity. And there are people who haven't had the opportunity to study it. I guess those are just the unlucky ones that get the shaft.

Well, if you believe the Christians and their Bible, their God is schizophrenic with three separate personalities and for some reason a Jealous God as well. Their God even has his angels tell Mary He's going to impregnate her so He can conceive himself.
That does confuse the love thing and He's a vengeful God too, but that's in his Old testament mode.....Hmmmm....Does that make four personalities?
