The unfortunate thing about posting a question on this website is you're not always going to like the answers you get.

Because sometimes people ask questions that are just asking for a rude answer. Like if they insult a person because of their beliefs on a topic.

Because a lot of people are whipped and the anonymity of the Internet allows them to be the rude bastard they always wanted to be. In real life they get beat down on a regular basis with no recourse, here they get to say all the things they wish they would've said to their boss, wife etc etc. I truly don't think they mean any harm, they're just beat down by the man.

Because many people who ask questions here are just looking for an answer that validates the opinion they already have... so people don't take it seriously.

Plus it's anonymous, so there are no repercussions when people act like asses.

People can be so rude when they do not comprehend the questions asked.
They can also be so rude if and when the Asker purposely wants rude answers to their silly questions.
People can also be rude because they misunderstood the question which is not so properly phrased out.....misunderstanding.
Other people just want to have their share of internet fun and be plain funny either to themselves or to others.
If someone is rude, please give them the benefit of the doubt.
If someone is abusively rude, please report abuse....click, click.....
And yes, I agree with those who said people tend to be what they are not behind their computers and in real life......

Because they have nothing better to do. And people have different personallities behind a computer than they do in real life.

IE. the tough guy behind a computer, if you met them in real life they would be to scared to speak up about what they really think
