We all know a nuke is a WMD. However, the question was how many people think a WMD is just a nuke? As opposed to chemical and biological munitions that are also classified as WMDs.

They do not realize what a weapon of Mass destruction really is. Any form of weaponry that can kill or maim a "mass" of people in one go is a WMD be it chemical, biological or nuclear.

Lots, because that's the one thing that is plastered all over the media. Nukes in Iran. Nukes in North Korea. Nukes in WWII. Nuclear submarines, ships, bombs, missiles.
Rarely are the terms 'biological,' 'radioactive,' or 'chemical' used, comparatively.

For the exact same reason many people think IED is spelled "IUD": they hear it on the evening news and don't actually do any research whatsoever, just repeat what they hear.

I dont, but there are about 80% of people who do. they dont research anything and just go off what their friends or other uneducated people say.
But you probably arent going to get alot of answers to this because it pertains to truthful things
