My lover and my friend dont really get along. But I let my lover know that he will always be my friend and that we will hang out when we have chances. Well today I told my lover Id help him with his hair after work which was at 5, but then my friend paid me an unexpected visit. He said it was fine and we could hang after. Then I told him id come back at ten Id do his hair and wed eat at ten. well ten came and went it was quarter to 11 when I went to see him. he says he doesnt want his hair done anymore. he seems to be mad. his friends were around. should i go back and try to smooth it over later? or just leave him alone for the night?

Leave him alone for tonight and spend the night thinking about what's important to you. If you're going to put your friend above your man (which you did when she came over unexpectedly and you immediately changed plans with him so you could visit with your friend) then you aren't ready for a real relationship. I have to say, that would irk me. Wouldn't it irk you? Who wants to have their hair done that late at night anyway? With his friends around? Yeah, give him some time to cool off a little. Let him call you when he's ready.

you should just leave him alone for the night, and wait until he is ready to talk to you. dont push on him because all you is doing is adding more on to the problem. you told him that you were going to do his hair and you would eat with him, and instead you put another man before him. think about it

call him up and see if he's ok..tell him what happened and what came up..see if you guys can work it out..and let him know that ur willing to..and ask him if he really wants to be with you both him and ur friend gotta get along..becuz its not fair to u..then see where he stands and..if its good set up a date tomorrow or w/e to hang out..if not then just leave him alone

just let him come down thats what i do when my boyfriend gets mad at something but then when he is all fine I go talk to him.
