I'm gonna ask her to go to the movies with me. I think she may like me, but believe me I'm not at all sure. Any advice or inspirational things to say?

If you don't ask her out then you will always beat yourself up for not asking her out. SO DO IT and live with no regrets.
I don't think you need to say something cheesy...just something normal like "hey what are you doing this weekend" and then if she says "nothing, why" or something like that, you can be like "you wanna go see this cool movie?" or "i'm gonna see this movie, you wanna come along" or something like that. Stay cool and hopefully she'll say yes! If not then oh well who cares...maybe you will get depressed for a little while but you know there are lots of girls out there so it doesn't matter.

Look into her eyes while you're talking to her. While or before asking her, throw in a casual(and truthful)compliment. If she declines, reassure her that you just wanna hang out with her as a friend because you want to get to know her.
Believe in yourself. If you walk up to her thinking that you won't get the date, she'll see that and what you don't want to happen, will. Walk up to her with a friendly attitude, so you won't scare her, and just be yourself. Good Luck!

Don't talk yourself up about it too much. I remember taking a chance with this guy and giving him my phone number when he never asked for it, and believe me, its scary! But ya know, once you do it, you feel so much better about yourself. Its like a sense of pride.

That's wonderful! I think you should just be yourself, girls love the confidence. Don't research any cheesy jokes, no. Just prepare something to talk about and have something light after the movies! have fun! If she accepts it...even if she doesn't, you MUST try again. It shows your dedication!

Be strong. Confirm your feelings for her by being yourself. If she doesn't like that, then its not meant to be. Just let her make any moves but if she signals ANYTHING make the move yourself. Good luck. I hope everything works out.

Good luck with it, and above all remain calm. She'll think twice as much of you if you remain calm, relaxed and gently smiling while she sees you then if you appear a nervous wreck. Just relax and enjoy yourself!

oh yeah go for it, if she says no, then you've put it out there and don't feel bad about it, i promise girls don't think you're an idiot for just asking. and if she says yes then it was all worth it! don't be scared of girls, we're not all that scary!
