Erm... no. I don't think so.

Apart from Slim Fast being excrutiatingly disgusting, its meant to be taken over a few weeks to work.

Another reason is losing 5 pounds in 4 days is practically impossible, not to mention extremely bad for you.

It's also basically full of bran to fill you up, so I'd suggest drinking plenty of water so you don't feel so Hungry, and if you can stand it eat celery or lettuce (not on its own!) as they have negative calories. But if this "big thing" you're going to involves food, you'll have shrunk your stomach to the point where you won't be able to eat much. Which may not be a bad thing, but when you're at a party, and there's alcohol and food involved, you'll feel bloated all night.

Losing 5 pounds won't make you look thinner anyway. Try pilates, or similar toning exercises, or possibly even water tablets like waterfall to lose some water weight. Toning your muscles in your stomach and torso will make you look thinner, and boost your confidence without having to starve yourself.

To be honest, you should have thought about this further in advance, and planned ahead.

Slim fast does not have the proper nutrition ratios to accomplish this, It was not designed to be used to replace all meals.

You can however, drop the pounds in a few days by doing a low carb diet and drinking lots of water. You will have to stay on this plan and work through all the phases in order to maintain the loss and not gain weight, so if you aren't committed, I wouldn't do it. (And yes, some of the loss will be water BUT your clothes will fit better and your stomach will be flatter and less bloated).

I've herd of boxers or wrestlers force-loosing weight to get into a weight class for a match by spending time in a sauna and working out wearing plastic to sweat out a few pounds, but this is dangerous and it's just loosing water from your body not fat.
you might loose a couple of pounds but in the long run it's better to eat healthy and exersize and be healthy. Weight doesn't mean anything, health and happyness are the most important things.
if you starve yourself, or go on a crash diet, you could end up feeling really tired or sick for your big event. It's better to take care of yourself and enjoy it.

Maybe 2 to 4 pound per week for a few weeks but as you know it's a stupid way of losing weight

Yeah I think you could drop that 5 lbs doing 3 a day. But take a vitamin as well or snack on fruit for your health. Thats it.

This could happen but I think it might be dangerous to your health.

You could possibly do this, but you could suffer from malnutrition.
