i was under the imprssin that yearbook wasn't a class at my school but that it was an extracurricular activity the teacher for the class is now putting a grade on our transcripts and it is bringing down my gpa is this allowed in a charter school?

let me be the first to tell you that as long as you have decent grades in highschool nothing else matters...and i know when i was in highschool teachers always said whatever grade you have in highschool, it will be dropped at least 1 grade in college...not true my grades went up a grade....dont worry about your grade

You need to speak immediately to the school counselor. And your English teacher as well. Looks like several problems.

Its worth credit at my school, so was journalism when I attended.
