I bought a treadmill for my "new year's resolution" of exercising daily but i'm getting really bored? Any suggestions?

I walk at a 10-12 incline (depending on how high yours goes - put it on the highest possible), about a 3 speed & walk at least one mile. This gets your heart rate going, works all your muscles (your whole body feels it, trust me) and I even walk w/ 3-5 lbs weights in my hands. Hard to get bored when you're working hard! ;) Try it. If you do this every day for two weeks, you'll notice a difference in your body.

if you have any other exercise machines, change the routine and do a different workout every day. If you don't, try reading or watching TV while you workout. Your mind will focus on the TV or book and you will be done before you know it. If you don't have a book or TV (ya right) then try doing an exercise that you don't need a machine to do like yoga etc.

What about the couch to 5K plan (running plan that prepares you to run 5 kilometers). It's on the coolrunnings website.
