I had a 95 Sunfire and I loved it! Since then I have bought a 99 Grand Am GT, a 04 GTO and a 07 Grand Prix GXP. So, I guess you could say that I like pontiac.
Please do your research though. Dependabilty can vary from car to car, depending on how the previous owner cared for their car.
Try to get a vehicle history report before buying anything. Also I would recommend doing some research too. Go to sites like www.consumerreports.com for loads of info!
Some other great sites are:
www.nada.com
www.kbb.com
www.caranddriver.com
www.motortrend.com
Also, try doing a web search for a Pontiac or a Ponitac Sunfire forum. You will get information from current owners on what they love about their cars, and any problems that they may have also. Sounds silly, but you could get the most info at a place like this.
Good luck!

I think it's great. Do your research in places like http://www.autotrader.com . Go there and look up the car to see what the AVERAGE asking price is, then decide if you want one and what're you going to pay for it.
