In other words, if i have a video that is 10 minutes long, how can I separate it so I get two videos 5 minutes each?

I have windows movie maker. I don't know how to use it though.

you can use the windows movie maker to split them.
but if you just want to split them to send over the net, you can use WinRAR to split them, then send, the the other person can use WinRAR to put it bac together to have the full video

use sound forge, i imagine of theres some decision to separte what you %., interior the diverse case, you audio record at the same time as you gazing that video, thats what i used to do at the same time as i go with a music or somthing from video clips

use windows movie maker.... it is already installed in your pc! it is easy
