Only if one is not concerned with encountering her lovers in the shopping mall, church, at lounges, school meetings, at theme parks, and other public places where she and you would travel with your children, parents, friends, and neighbors. If you can stand to see the smirk on her lovers' faces at his conquest over you wife, then there is no problem. Otherwise, think twice.

I guess it would depend on what the extensive sexual history is. If the person in question used to be in a long-term relationship or marriage where the sex was monogamous, then it will be alright.
On the other hand, if the sexual history is based on one being a prostitute or that they were shacked up with multiple partners, then you might want to run away as fast as you can.

i don't think so. i never thought it would be a big deal, but i'm dating someone right now who has an extensive sexual history, and i've got to tell you, it just makes things feel like a routine and not very special. plus, its embarrassing sometimes when i continually meet women he's already slept with. it just feels like he's someone everyone has already passed around, and like i just happened to pull the next ticket at the deli counter. i think if both people have a comprable history, it wouldn't be a problem.

That depends on what you mean by "extensive", I have a feeling we have very different definitions for that word. For fun early in our relationship we tried to tally them all up, mine took a little thought but I did it, however we gave up on him once we got to around 30 and more kept coming to mind. Doesn't matter - all of them were consenting females over the age of 18.

it depends on the guy, My boyfriend, soon to be fiance, has what you would call extensive sexual history, he is 29 and has had over 10 partners, and has kids with 5 of them including me. but when it comes down to it he is a wonderful man, he works his *** off and supports me and all his children, and i know that he is committed and faithful to me, so if you trust the guy and have confidence in him its possible for him to be marriage material

Yes, I did. But I didn't know it at that time. He told me he had been in the Navy. But I didn't think anything about it at the time. I have since learned more of his history. But it's all cool. He hasn't had any diseases or nothing. He's been tested several times since we married 21 years ago.

I guess, I mean, if you're 100% sure they wont cheat, and you are 100% sure they dont have anything, and you really love them, I'd say you should.

Never judge someone for what they have done, only judge them by what they do with you and you alone.
