The apostle Paul told you to work out your own salvation, so I assume that you are simply being a Christian. You have to develop your own personal relationship with Jesus.

That dos not always mean that you should do it alone, however. I hope that you can find some church that you feel comfortable with, that is close to what you believe. No denomination is perfect.

If you are none of these then what, you just follow a Jesus that you made up? If you read the Bible you will realize you must associate with a Church but many do not because that would mean they would actually have to get up on Sunday morning and go worship God. They would much rather stay in bed and worship themselves.

I am not any of those you named at all and I am defiantly born again. I have been studying for many years, and I cannot hold with any of the so called organized religions every one of them has their own interpretations of the Bible and I have found every denomination to be flawed in one way or another.

If I were to say I am partial to any group I would have to say it would be the Liberated Christians. I have learned more truth from their writings than from most of the churches I have been affiliated with.

Is Liberated Christians for everyone? No, but they shed much light on various teachings in the Bible and else where that I questioned for many years in the various denominations.

Good luck in your search...don't give up...Jesus the Son of God is the only way....and for those of you out there whom do not believe this, that is fine, I don't believe what you believe in either. But I won't judge you that is not my place to do.

It doesn't matter what belief you are if you believe in Jesus, that he died on the cross for your sins. Jesus is not going to judge you for what belief you are, but for believing in who he is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Some one, once ask the question at a Christian Event. How many Baptist are there some raise their hands, how many Catholics, some raise their hands, and they asked more different beliefs.. Then they asked how many believe in Jesus and everyone in that building raised their hand at the same time.

I too have had trouble fitting into the beliefs of one Christian church. I attend a non-denominational church, it's great--they read the bible for what it is and don't read things into it to suit the beliefs of that school of thought, they don't get caught up in the little issues and instead focus on the big picture. Find a few of these in your area, attend a few times and see if you like them.

what ever you're closest to, or just believe what the Bible says. The latter is the best option. but you may want to go to a pastor or someone trustworthy and educated in Greek and/or Hebrew if some things are unclear. and protestant is the widest range, as it includes may denominations of its own.

and JW is part of Christendom (associated with Christ, not actually Christian, as they don't get born again)

You are not alone. I think all true Christians are a mixture of all of these, although, I wouldn't consider JW's true Christians. The problem is the fact that "traditions of men" have crept into each one of them. Call yourself a follower of Christ, that's what I do. I try to stay out of the Protestant vs. Catholic debate and just try to follow the word of God to the best of my ability.

I went through the same thing awhile back (luckily for you their all in the same faith ) I found out that lots of people are like this. Everyone has their own version of the truth which is a mixture of truths known to everyone. this is why the bible says that we are the body of christ, see each part challenges another (like our government) so that the ultimate truth may be found unless you disagree w/ some thing in your church, just stay w/ the one your in

Well... what do you believe? Do you believe Jesus the Christ is Lord? Do you believe that He literally died and rose again? Do you believe that the Bible is the inspired and perfect Word of God? Do you believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven? Do you believe that God heals, and in the power of His Holy Spirit? Do you believe in the Trinity? Do you believe in baptism by full imersion under water, or by sprinkling water on someone's head? Do you believe baptising babies and children before they are old enough to confess Christ for themselves?

Whew... I could go on. But what DO you believe? And WHY do you believe what you believe? Answer me that, as well as you can, and I might be able to answer your question better.

Don't be so anxious to catagorize yourself though. It is good to find a group of people who believe what you believe, but beyond that catagorization isn't that necissary.

Theology is one thing...docrine another. I don't identify with any of those docrines. I consider myself non-denominational. Who says you have to be a baptist or methodist or whatever? I think people came up with all this because they couldn't iron out their differences, so, they decided to part. We've complicated Christianity with all the "stuff". What about the Gospel of Jesus Christ? That's what it's all about to begin with.
