Depends on where you both are in your lives. If neither of you are ready to commit again, definitely "friends with benefits." If your both ready to commit, gf/bf. My boyfriend and I started as "friends with benefits" and have now been a couple for about 2 years!

Much better to be gf/bf, because "friends with benefits" means a guy has all the fun but no responsibility.

GF/BF. Friends with benefits sounds like a good idea but someone will eventually develop deeper feelings than the other person and wind up hurt. It will destroy the friendship in the end.

If you are looking for a in between filing, friends with benefits. You have to realize that you will never be just friends and it will mostlikly make you friendship end after either one of you find a bf/gf.

depends on whether you have romantic feelings or not.. if she/he's just a pal then you're obviously not gonna screw it up by forcing a relationship that's never gonna happen. Likewise, if either one of you has a crush on the other, friends with benefits won't work either and will just give you trouble.

while i have never had a "friend with benefits" its because i dont want one --- either a girlfriend and friend (with or without sex) or friend --- its too complicated
