Agree with those that said to lower the oven 25 degrees, another must is to never put more than ONE cookie sheet into the oven. If you do heat will reflect off them causing the cookies to burn. Also turn the cookie sheets upside down as the rims will reflect heat and burn the edges.

Cook on 350 degrees. Use parchment paper to help sticking and burning. Always undercook a cookie 2 minutes to allow cookie to continue cooking. During cooking process, rotate trays from front to back and shelf to shelf. Always watch the cookies when in oven

Place the cookies on baking wax paper and use the double thick baking pans.Between the top and bottom pieces is an air space. That insulation helps tremendously in not burning the bottoms of the cookies. Use a timer.

When you baking your cookies pay attention to the oven, don't use the phone or watch tv or alike, check them often and retrieve'em when done, follow this and you will never burn the cookies again..☺

First of all, test your oven to make sure it is reaching the right temperature. Buy an oven thermometer, place it in the oven and preheat the oven to the temp indicated on the recipe. After 10 - 15 min, check the thermometer and see if it reached the right temp. If it is higher than what you set it at, then adjust the oven temperature - and think about getting it fixed or replaced. Also, make sure you are timing your cookies correctly. Check on them after 8 minutes and see how they're doing.

Your oven might be a little hotter than the recipe calls for. Lower the temperature by about 25 degrees and make a batch. Check on them regularly, as they might be done before the time on the recipe. If they burn lower the temperature again and wait for the oven to cool. Then make the next batch.
