There is nothing in the Bible I can find that says that. Anyone know what Daniel A: Zionist Pig is referring to? The version of the Bible I have tells us that the ark came to rest in the mountains of Ararat. Nothing I see tells us he lived there nor anchored the ark. I just want to make sure we all provide correct information.

From: Daniel A: Zionist Pig

Subject: Adam and Eve

Message: Noah anchored the ark to the ground. Not only for stability in high waves, but he probably realized that if he didn't anchor the ark somehow he might end up in the middle of the sea when the waters receded and never know it. Even if he did see land, the ark had no propulsion system so he would have had no means of getting back to shore.

It's beautifully simple and logical isn't it? I think you'll find the Bible is cool that way.

Maybe Noah went to Home Depot.

Dragging a big rock with a hole cut in the middle for a rope would serve to keep the Ark from running broadside to the wind, and stone(s) similar to that have been discovered in those parts.

Other than that, there is nothing to indicate any type of an anchor that would have kept the Ark in one place.

I think the zionist pig is referring to big stone with a hole in it found on arrarat that was consistent with the anchors of the time. It is a lot of speculation, plus, the turks are currently not allowing any further expeditions to confirm or refute the theory. Also, think of it this way...common sense would have it.. If a person is smart enough to build a boat or ark, he/she would be smart enough to include an anchor. Think of how thick the bible would be if all the minutiae were included.

Well, if you believe the Noah story then water must have covered the highest mountain top. Since Mt. Everest is over 29,000 ft tall, He would need a helluva anchor chain depending upon where he was.

Not to mention an oxygen tank with lots of oxygen to continue breathing for 40 days and 40 nights.

Think that's unrealistic?

The Bible says that Noah chopped up the Ark for firewood. It was burned so he and the animals wouldn't freeze to death up on the side of the mountain where they got stuck after God sent all that water to Jupiter.

What is really interesting is the fact the the Greeks had a very similar ark story that was around long before the version you read of in the old testement.

I have never read anything close to that. I would also say as a boat owner the worst thing you could do in a bad storm with high waves is anchor your boat. It would rip your boat apart.

When you're making up crap what does it really matter if you can tie it back to some other crap that somebody else made up.

There was no Noah, no flood, no ark, no God.

It's all just made up crap.

The whole story is a myth. You can make it whatever your imagination needs to have it make sense.
