I'm going on a date with a girl this Sunday, kind of a get to know each other date, and we decided to go see a movie. She left the choice of movie up to me. What should I pick, considering that I don't know what her taste in movies is?
also, what kind of physical contact would it be acceptable to make? we're not actually going out, kind of just getting to know each other and deciding from there.

one bad thing i forgot to mention - neither of us has our license, and there's no movie theater in walking distance.

go to a theater that's inside a mall and show up early. this way you can walk around and get to know each other thru conversation, rather than just sitting next to each other in silence. see a comedy to keep the mood light. while you watch the movie, you have to be aware of her body language... if she sits in the middle of her seat or leans away from you with her hands in her lap, then you should not make any type of physical contact. if she leans toward you or places her hand on the arm rest between you, then you should hold her hand. i'm going to assume that your mom is going to have to drive you... if you do end up holding hands and she seems comfortable with you and kind of rubs your hand, then you should go for the kiss while you're still in the theater as soon as the credits start to roll, rather than in front of your mom. slow with closed mouth.

well, when my now wife and I first started seeing each other I took her to a mixed movie, meaning like one that has romance and a love story mixed with action - that way if she likes the love stories, there is one in it and also if she likes action there's a plot of that too. As for physical contact - we just flirted and talked alot- don't be too nervous or rush into it so you don't make her uncomfortable - i tickled her and put my arm around her and it really broke the ice - those can both be accepted as a friendly gesture more than a "we're in a relationship" one - it'll probably just be akward at first - as the night progresses you will get to know her and it'll become easier to know what to do -best thing though is communication- Good Luck

Dinner would've been a better choice. That way you can talk. The movie: Well maybe a comedy where you can laugh a little. If she's having fun try to put your arm around her. Let her make the next move.

ok pick a movie that you want to see, it doesn't really matter what it is.
as for physical contact, what you need to do is start with innocent touching, like touching her on the shoulder for a second when you are talking. When she starts to touch you too, then you know she is getting comfortable with you, and you can move closer to her. take it slow, if she seems uncomfortable back off.

she'll let you know what kind of contact you make. and if she likes she won't care what movie you go to. that's why you go to dinner first, and then to a movie. have backups that start around same time.
i would go see music and lyrics. and then stab myself in the face afterwards.

just act normal, like ur goin out with a friend. dont make any moves. and dont try to show off too much or act like a pimp. and show her a comedy. i mean who doesnt like comedies right? then later on u can take her to a dinner or sumthin. and after that wen ur droppin her off, give her a goodnight kiss lightly on the cheek. and hope that ur date went well. lolz

dont take her to the movies if your going to get to know each other. take her miniature golfing maybe that way you can enjoy your date and talk to each other at the same time.
remember to let her win if you take her there.
i just saw that you dont have your license. well you could double date with your friends or with her friends.

well from a girl point of view ask her what kind of movies she like and as for how far you go a hug and kiss on cheek if you like her
