We assume that your TV has not enough input ports, because if it has the question is pointless - just connect the 2d VCR to another S-Video or composite input.

You don't specify how you connect your 1st VCR to the TV. Through RF, S-Video, or Composite?

Just connect them in series

TV signal --VCR1 -->VCR2 ---> TV

Alternative is to buy a switch for your TV (RF, composite, etc.) depending on what input you use.

Use the RCA jacks (they are colored red, white and yellow) You can then record from one tape to another. You can get the cables from Wal-Mart for pretty cheap
