If you really, really like him, than flirt a bit and let him know. Just realize you are betting this relationship against your job. The breakup maybe messy and you may decide to quit.

Guys don't often like to get involved with people they work with. I would wait for him to approach you about it. Some guys like to flirt, especially on the job and bring about the reaction you feel when you see him. Should you tell him and he wouldn't be interested, then working at the same place would become awkward, maybe even annoying. Same thing if you guys start dating and you realize that it wasn't such a good idea.

Instead of coming right out and saying "I like you".. why don't you try being a little subtle. Invite him for drinks after work (if you're over 21, ofcourse) or try learning more aboutwhat he likes then ask him to do an activity together like bowling or something. By doing it this way you won't have to feel too shy about it and if he says yes.. then at least you'll know he's interested.

oooh... that's a touchy topic- some say keep professional relationships that way [just prfessional]
ask you self these things before you tell him or talk to him:
How long has he worked there? [like if 3 weeks, hold off, but if 4 months, then maybe start to consider him...]
Does he have the same values and perceptions you have? [Faith, morals important to you, etc, even attitude, work ethic... is he just a pick up artist, or a genuine good guy]
Could you first go out with some co-workers, like to lunch, and get to know him slowly, and let him make the first move? If he knows you like him, like if you appear interested, show him you care, etc... perhaps he'll see all that and know that he can approach you and get to know you.
Insted of making the first move, let him make it, but show him youd be into him IF he did make a first move...
Do somehting casual, lunch, rollerblading, bike ride, something friedndly first, and let him be the man - - - who decides to ask YOU out:)
Just my ideas on the topic,
hope it works out the way it's supposed to!

Depends on your work situation. Things could be awkward after you tell him, and depending on how closely you have to work, you may want to consider this before coming forwards with your feelings. However, I am a true believer in taking chances, and even if he doesn't share your feelings, you won't have any regrets. Take risks, put yourself out there - you'll never know otherwise!

Ask to go out for a drink.say you want to hang out.So you too can get to know each other outside of work and see how he acts with you and after that call a few days latter set something up to do again then tell him you want to date him.

He probably knows already if you are kind of shy around him. Ask him out but tell him it's okay if he doesn't want to. That way you won't freak him out in case he's not interested. Then you would have no "real" contact with him at all.

invite him to lunch or coffee on your break, or maybe out for drinks after work. Taking the initiative to get some one on one time with him will help him see that you're interested in spending time with him outside work. See where it goes from there :)

Have you guys ever hung out together, like outside of work? If not, then ask him to come over and hang out or something outside of work. It will all fall in place like that. If he likes you, he'll be interested in going, if not, then he'll just be like "I'm busy, maybe next week".
If you guys have hung out outside of work then be like "You're a very nice man. I like that about you" and wink or something crazy like that.
If you're BRAVE enough then just be like "___, I think I'm starting to like you... Would you like to go hang out some time?"
