If you are asking this question here you are obviously not an experienced breeder of sorts..............so take both dogs to the vet get them spayed and nutered and take them both for a good walk at least half hour a day!

Try some Rescue Remedy. It is an all natural treatment that can be used on dogs for anxiety, car sickness, etc. It comes in a spray that you can spray directly in your dog's mouth, or in a liquid to add to water.

You should get at least one of them fixed to prevent an episode like this in the future as well.

Do NOT use Benadryl - benadryl is a steroid to help with dog allergies. and do NOT use tylenol, because it can be fatal to dogs. The best way is to take your dog to the vet, where he can prescribe or recommend medication specifically for your dog! plus he can tell you exactly how much of the medication to give your dog - he knows the weight of your dog and your dog's medical history, something which we can't tell you here on yahoo answers.

DO NOT try to give him something to tranquilize him.

That's what happens when you have a male anywhere near a female that CAN come in heat. He knows it's time!

Consider boarding him or place him with a family member or friend that you feel is responsible enough to handle him.

I put lavender in my dogs bed. This helps her sleep and keeps flees off her. Flees don't like lavender.

If you don't want him to get with the female, you should have them fixed, simple as that. If not and want puppies, pen him up somewhere so he can't get to her.

Benedryl, 1 Mg per pound of dog. We use it whenever we have company coming over, and my vet told me about it.
