I don't really know when someone is flirting with me. I know that if a girl smiles at you thats not flirting and most guys think it is. Can anyone help?

ok well first off...you can i.m. me if you want and i'll help ya out...but normally if a girl jokes around with you a lot and is a little mean, shes flirting. also if she walks by you and play punches you...shes flirting...when ur around her and she twirls her hair, when she laughs at ur stupid jokes, when she complains about u not calling...just stupid little things like that

I'm 23, and if your are in high school we do flirt much differently between ages but... In high school no matter what game I played, whenever I saw a guy I liked I couldn't help but smile. I used to pick fights, like stupid little arguments, with the person I liked but the whole time we would be arguing I would flash little smiles in between. Also anyone who touches you a lot while they're talking, can't really seem to look you in the eyes but is obviously enjoying the conversation, or often has a nervous giggle while they talk to you might be flirting. you're right about smiling. some girls just smile to be friendly and i am one of them. flirting is a few levels up than smiling. flirting involves direct eye contact, casual smile, chatting (depending on the topics)....it's an exhibition of charm which you shouldn't miss. you kinda also have to know what flirting is like for different personalities/girls. ie, someone's casual talk may look like someone else's flirt. it depends!

smiling is flirting! i always smile at the guys i like.. thats a major give away someone likes you! if she is shy she will look at you lots and if you otice her she will look away quickly go red ect. if she walks different around you that also means she likes you. i noit sounds wierd but sometimes girls kinda copy the guys they like... say you were sucking on a pen in class. she might start to do it too.

it depends on the girl, and lots of girls do use a smile as flirting, but some girls just smile...cause they wanna=D <---see anyways it also depends on if yew are close with the girl already, if she is a friend then when yew are together she will try to get closer and play with her hair and stare alot and figit if she's not near yew alot then its kinda hard to notice when she is flirting er not.good luckk.

The smiling along with the longer eye contact...that's flirting. If she looks at you...looks away...looks at you again...flirting.

flirting is sometimes difficult to pick up on depending on how subtle she is being....most girls if she goes out of her way to talk to you often is a sign shes into you....eye contact and light brushing is a good sign too....and yes lol if she has her tongue in your mouth that is a great sign too :)

you are right about the smiling thing.
um... one thing that I still remember is a girl in high school walked by and slid an index finger from my knee to my crotch. and then licked her finger.
i was so confused, i didn't know what to do.
