He was a descendant of Abraham. Israelite and/or Jew. Not sure about his wife.

Moses was a descendant of Levi, one of the sons of Jacob, or Israel, son of Isaac son of Abraham. You can trace Abraham's lineage back further in Genesis chapter 11.
Moses' wife was Zipporah, daughter of Reuel, also called Jethro, who was a priest of Midian, a desdendant of Abraham, but through his wife Keturah. Some believe she was a descendant of Cush because she is called a Cushite in Numbers 12:1, but others explain this as referring to the land of her origin, Midian being in the land of Cush.

Moses was a child of the tribe of Levi, one of the children if Israel, making him an Israelite, and a Levite. His first wife was a Midianite and his second (after his first died) was an Ethiopian (although some translations have Kushite i think).

The Arabs of Saudi Arabia have said that Moses, Aaron and the Pharoah of that time are Black. Arabs have oral history through poems and Written history from the Islamic Period. The Muslims hold the Prophets in high esteem, they wouldn t lie about this. Some Arabs generally look down on nonArabs especially black. Why would they say a great ancient prophet was black and not Arab and still hold him in high esteem. Even if they have a race problem they still are truthful about the prophets. We know that their are Ethiopian Jews and near Eastern Jews. White jews are converts. So It leaves near eastern (Arab) and Black. The Arabs say he is Black so they should know.
