i have one and she is the most sweetest and cutest dog on EARTH!

I have two of them. They are parti-poms..A tri and an orange Irish. I love these little guys...The are the absoute cutest!. My first Pom I got from the dog pound, she was so pretty I could not leave her there homeless. She was older and still learned everything I expected so quickly and bonded to me like I had her from a pup. she loved everyone and never barked. When she died, I was so lonesome and of course went straight to a great breeder for a couple new pups. All dogs have good behavior if propertly trained. I spent a great deal of time with my puppies, as they will live another 14 years and will be the good or bad dog I have trained them to be. Poms are the Greatest.

Poms look absolutly adorable and can be great dogs if trained right. My G-pa has one who is not well trained and barks ALL THE TIME. He barks at my G-ma and aunt who live there and at anyone who comes by. And Pom's barks are terrible annoying. They're high-pitched and give me headaches. G-pa thinks it's cute, I don't and wish he would train him better. But it's not my dog. My cousin has a well-behaved Pom who is seriously adorable without the barking problem.
Bottom line: Train them not to bark all the time. IMHO

poms are very affectionate and loving dogs. i had a pom for 10 years and she was great.
