I am flying for the first time and I know there's ALOT of rules and stuff (i know the 3 oz, qt size bag stuff for liquids), but is there anything you suggest to make the flight more comfortable? I've heard gum, eyedrops, and a small pillow. It's 2 two hour flights back to back.
Also, I am going to Colorado (for the first time). I live in the Southeast so I'm not used to very cold weather and SNOW! hah! Anyway, anything you suggest I pack? Please help! :) Thanks!

a 2 hour flight is nothing. even back to back. just a would bring a book or something to occupy your time, but if better be a short book and gum is good for the ear popping.

You flight length isn't to long so I would just bring a mp3 player or book. I would also carry tissues, gum and a blanket. Since it is your first time I would bring Tylenol because you may have sensitive ears and medicine if you get air sick. This may sound odd but you should carry an extra pair of clothes (that includes underwear) just in case your flight is delayed. You never no you may be stuck in transit for a a day or two due to bad weather.

You will want to wear shores that protect your feet, are comfortable and are easy to put on and off because you will have to take off your shoes when going through security.

If you get nervous just think about the wonderful time you will have during your vacation.

Some of the best shoes to wear in cold weather are uggs, trust me you won't be sorry if you get them. I would bring one or two down jackets, but get them in plain or simple patterns so that you can mix and match clothes. Try to have a color theme and plan out what you will wear each day so that you don't over pack. To prevent your clothes from getting dirty, use the bag that your newspaper comes in to put your shoes in.

Have lots of fun!!

In addition to what you mentioned (and gum is critical) here are a few more:

You might want to wear a long shawl on the flight so you can use it as a blanket. Sometimes it can get pretty chilly on board.

If you have a cold or sinus problems bring some nasal spray. I once flew with a cold and the pressure changes were uncomfortable because my sinuses were stopped up.

You might want to take an mp3 player, if you have one, and something to read to pass the time while you wait for your flight.

Enjoy your trip!

Since this is your fist time, do not take it personal. It's ok to be nervous but before getting on the plane, think about something that makes you happy and bring things like ipod or a CD player for your personal distraction. GOOD LUCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!

a stiff drink will help :) It's only 4 hours, so won't be difficult. you won't need a small pillow-the planes have them....and blankets, too.
Pack lots of layers, cuz you might hit an unusually warm spring and your heavy coat may be too much. warm socks (like ski socks) would be a good idea.
good luck and have fun! colorado is gorgeous!
