How do you know if a guy is interested in you.?

Ive only met this guy well we met like last year, and we get on really well @ 1st I wasnt really interested cause he's not really my type Im more into brunette guys but with him I made an exception anyways he works in a store and anyways.... When we talk he always listens to what I have to say... he's always open with me we share our stuff with each other e.g CDs and stuff and... he's always wanting to see more of my writing cause I'm a bit of a writer and he does compliment me and.. he asks for my opinion I mean we dont even know each other really we havent actually spent time alone together outside of the store he works at its always instore but when we do talk the mins pass like flying colours and its like ohmigosh look at the time and we're just mates I think.... I know some of you guys are probably like .. wake up! But its kinda hard to see if you in the picture and not on the outside looking in if you know what I mean...Anyways some advice would be a great help

If he constantly calls and gives you attention, then maybe he does. Just hang out with him more outside of the store
