I had lupus for 4 years, and my medical bills are covered by my current company insurance. If I change job in the future, will my lupus still be covered by the new company's insurance?

Most insurance carriers have a policy about not covering pre-existing conditions, so the answer is most likely no. You would have to contact the carrier or the human resource specialist at your prospective new employer to find out for sure.

As long as you maintain coverage until the new insurance takes effect. You should receive a certificate of prior coverage.

Look into the policy on pre-existing conditions, most likely it will not be covered but it can be dependant on your state laws.
