I've never met him. I don't know anything about him. I've never even been out on a date! I would really like to get to know him. My friend's advice is go up to him in the hallway and say "Hey, you're hot!" and walk away! HELP! Any advice is really appreciated!

DON'T DO WHAT UR FRIEND TOLD U TO DO!!!! THAT WOULD BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF UR LIFE AND U WOULD RUIN ANY CHANCE THAT YOU HAVE WITH THIS GUY. JUST BUMP INTO HIM ON PURPOSE AND THEN ATTEMPT TO STRIKE UP A CONVERSATION. IF THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR U, THEN YOU COULD ASK HIM TO BORROW SOMETHING, ASK FOR HELP (THIS IS A GOOD ONE), OR YOU COULD JUST GO UP TO HIM LIKE UR FRIENDS SAID, BUT I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. TRY TO DRESS NICE, MORE ON THE SEXY SIDE, BUT NOT SLUTTY! ALSO MAKE UR HAIR LOOK NICE, TRY CURLING IT OR STRAIGHTENING IT. GOOD LUCK! WEAR SOME PERFUME TOO!

If i were u I would bump into him or do something small to initiate some small talk. If you see him often in the hallway work up to walking to class with him, discussing things u have in common (teachers, hw, school) something easy and simple to start. Get his sn and talk to him online or through myspace/facebook in indirect conversation. Get to know his friends and start to hang out with them too. Sometimes the best way to someone is through someone else. Then I would slowly build ur relationship/conversations, and eventually ask him to go out to lunch or something a few times. Then after u get to know him a little better u can ask him or maybe he will ask u on a date. I know this seems like a lot of time but if there is any chemistry at all, things should move fairly quickly and without many ackward moments.

I had the same trouble just go up to him when he is in the hallway or after school and ask him if he would be free for the night or right then and there to take a walk and if he would say yes ask he if he is seeing any one right now just make sure his friends are no were to be found because boy at out around there friends. good luck

Don't give it all away like your friend said, I mean you can. But it would be good to start a friendship with him. Like just say hello, and introduce your self. Or just a simple hello, and keep walking start to make it a habit everyday, and I'm sure it would eventually lead into a conversation. Become his friend at first so that you can get to know his personality, remember looks arnt EVERYTHING, there just a bonus! After getting to know him then decide if you like him more than a friend still. Who knows you might just end up gaining a good friend.

hehe That's happened to me before. Going up to him and saying, "You're hot!" and walking away will deffinitely NOT help. He will most likely think you are immature and don't want to get to know him. By doing that you are giving him the impression that all you care about are looks. Instead, you could go up to him and say, "Hey, what's your name?" Just starting a nice conversation with him is a good start. Then you can get to know him better. You could also ask his friends (if you know any) to introduce you to him. I know it takes a lot of courage to go up to him, but the most important thing is to remember to be yourself. You want him to get to know YOU, not something else, even if it is better, because sooner or later he will find out who you really are. Hope I was able to help! GOOD LUCK!

Go tell him how you feel. Guys dont like games and are not very good at reading between the lines. Just go up to him and be blunt about how you feel (but dont say ur hot and walk away, make sure he knows ur interested in getting to know him more)....if hes interested then youve got him, and if not then at least u know you tried.

I think saying hey you're hot wouldn't really work. I think thats being too foward. Maybe find a way to talk to him like a grown up.

What you need to do is start dropping hints but don't talk to him. If you're too forward he'll just think you're a slut (if you really know NOTHING about him), drop hints to get him interested, and then, and only then, will you talk to him. That way you get him to know what you're thinking and then it won't seem out of place when you start flirting.

Well I wouldn't take your friend's advice too seriouly. If you want to meet the guy at least say hello to him. Being straightforward is better than playing games.

here is an idea start getting closer to the boy and have a friend that knows him talk to him about you and have them put in a good word for you and have the person tell the person that you like that you like him
