I am all for secure borders and LEGAL imigration. But that is not the history of your country. You know have a large population of (illegal) workers in the USA. And why is this a concern? First, don't believe anything the news heads tell you about how bad this is for the economy. The fact is; the US was built and became the stongest economy on the planet because of LOW COST/NO COST labour (slaves). The companies that hire these people understand that it makes sense to pay as little for labour as possible to make big profits. They continue to do this hiring because of the profits it affords them and they continue to lobby the government to take it easy on enforcing the rules because of the profits and really if you think about it the damage to the US economy if they couldn't get cheap labour. The government knows this and this why the borders have not been made more secure.
Even the threat of terroism and easy access to the US over insecure borders hasn't forced the government to do more than to make speaches and make it look like they're doing stuff to stop it. They know that their largest businesses and supporters depend on the easy access to cheap labour, which is better for the country than the risk of terrorism. And the real fact is that if all the illegals were to be deported or even half of them (something I think is impossible to do) OR if they went on strike for two months the US economy would be so much trouble that it may never recover. You got them because the powers that be want them there. You've got to adopt them and allow them to stay. The country has NO CHOICE economicaly speaking. Make the best of the situation.

The banks are spoiling them with something that they have no right to have. If they were legal than of course by all means let them have credit cards. But the banks are targeting illegals with the credit cards..why? it's all about profits. They probley care less about the legal immigrants. It's the illegal ones that can earn them some cash. It's all about money.

Yeah, let banks give them credit cards.... how stupid of an idea is that. I guess you're okay with it because the $5.50 you make an hour is under that FDIC limit. The only upside to that scenario is to wait until the illegals ditch so much debt onto the bank then you load on yours and wait for it to sink at no cost to you...

And yes, people are illegal. They are humans, they have some inalienable rights, however that's where my sympathy ceases.

I think that's an excellent suggestion! For friends to get along, good manners are required. Wait your turn, be respectful, learn the language of the country you are visiting or live in and do not take advantage of the hospitality afforded you.

And let's not forget the biggee - don't overstay your welcome.

Well said!You understand where the heart is suppose to be!!I also say let them come!why?well i am an AMERICAN born and raised and the sad truth is the mexicans are doing the jobs everyone else is too lazy to do,there is less crime among the mexicans and most i have encountered are very kind and willing to offer their help.they arent taking our country away from us we are giving it to them.reason= this country has become welfair dependant and the laws are so crossed up when we think we are walking the straight and narrow a new law pops up saying different.no i dont have the awnsers but i do know HATE IS NOT IT!!!

How can these countries ever improve if their citizens never stay to help? I think that's the real reason immigration needs to stop for awhile.

FYI There are 1200 terrorist groups in 150 cities with weapons. One group had an American stand out front while they are doing something in the back-woods. Only appx 60% are Mexicans that enter through the back door. There is no Homeland Security only expensive equip @the airports holding up citizens.

And as far as the bank cards, Bank of America is extremely naive to believe that they are gonna get any of the debt racked up on these cards back. Yeah, maybe some will be honorable, but tons and tons will be fraudulent.
