I'd like to get some sort of exercising equipment for my mom (who's age is 50+). She's usually working in her office (computer programming) so she feels she does not have enough time to go out and exercise.

What are some good suggestions for equipment I can get her so she can exercise in her own office? And in case you are wondering: no...her office is not big enough for a treadmill. Something smaller, more compact would be nice.

Thank you!!!

One of the best pieces of exercise equipment you can have (in my opinion) are stretch bands. They come with instructions to do a variety of exercises to give you the same toning benefits of large bulky expensive exercise machines. You can tone virtually every part of your body and the bands can hang over a door, or be folded or rolled into a small space when not being used. They are sold at most department stores (Wal-mart, Target, etc.) or spend a little more for deluxe versions from sports and fitness stores, but I doubt the are really any better than the cheaper versions. The bands come in different 'strengths' for varied resistance. Personally, I love them.

Yes, it's a treadmill, but it is small and manual. I'm pretty sure it folds up, and it has wheels so your mom can easily move it. Maybe look around the store for a smaller version. (I've seen very compact versions)
