Alright, the Chicago winter is coming to an end. I've been doing no exercise and drinking a lot of beer the past few months. Summer is on the way and I would like to feel comfortable taking my shirt off in public. I'm 6 feet tall, weighing in at 165 pounds. I'm not worried about my weight at all. My problem is that I have a little bit of a gut/beer belly which I would quickly like to get rid of. What are my best exercise options to get rid of my gut. It really is the only place on my body that I would consider fat.

I know this doesn't help, but beer will not be eliminated from my diet. With the amount I consume, I know it's probably a big reason why this gut has formed. But I am looking for ways to allow me to continue going out and getting drunk and making a fool out of myself in front of the opposite sex.

There are only two things that work, reduce calories, and increase excercise. Anything less you are just fooling yourself. Any excercise helps burn fat. The more fat you have in one place the more you burn.
You won't burn fat where you don't have any.

Well you can start by laying off the beer and the junk food that always works but also do some running not by doing abdominals all day will help to have a flat stomach, I mean is good to do them but run for a few minutes a day to burn the fat of your belly and do some abs work every now and then to keep your stomach toned.
