Thas good because you can't, its impossible.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

You sin because sin was written so that everyone would sin. If you don't want to sin, then drop the whole idea and just do what your own heart tells you.

You DO NOT SIN because you were born a sinner. I will discuss off list privately to anyone who is serious about learning about this. (tennesseejac2003@yahoo.com)

Of all the answers given, no one referred to the book of James 1:12-15
"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man:

But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

Every sin that man entices himself with is catorgorized into three things that are in the world, 1 John 2;16:
"For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world."

Therefore, when you and I and every soul on the earth allow the things of the world to draw us away, we sin.

Sin is a transgression against God (1 John 3:4). God would not allow us to be born with transgressions that separates us from Him (Isa 59:1).

James 4:8 tells us to "Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you. Cleasne your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

Simply put, you are in control of your will. Romans 6:16 teaches that by choice we can be the servant of sin or the servant of righteousness. Be like Joshua of old, chooose this day whom you will serve! (Joshua 24:15)

But when you/we do sin, and sin will happen, know that Jesus the rightoues is an advocate to the Father. Amen!

The only way you'll stop sinning is to stop living. I'm not saying kill yourself. Just accept the fact that as a human being with free will, as God created you, you are going to sin.

"I don't ever want to sin no more"

2 negatives in a sentence equal a positive, which would actually mean that you want to sin a lot more.

I KNEW that was a trick question.

Edit: sorry, I get this lame joke syndrome in the evening

Because the rules laid down by every major religion are completely contradictory to human nature. There is something to be said for controlling your instincts, but following religion's rules to the letter would require you to completely eliminate perfectly normal human instincts. No one can do that. Why would you even want to?
