It can't tell. I'm a bit fuzzy on what your goals are. My common sense probably help you in this case more than psychic intuition, although I'll give you both.
I mean, look at how much you are paid and what you are learning from your job in terms of your long term objectives. Also I can't tell whether you are ready to study or not. When you start school later its harder but you are more determined. The longer you stay away the less the chance you will enter.
In terms of your relationship, I'm tempted to say its not right for you but it is possible you are not looking at the right things. What i recommend you do is spend a day away from that person by yourself. Keep all the distractions away. Think about how he treats others, how he treats you, whether he's commited and why you are not commited. Think about whether you enjoy being with him and what you enjoy doing together. Does he "complete" you? Do you complete him? Do you build each other up or tear each other apart. Is anybody manipulating the other.
If you leave him, you will find another but whether you'll find what you are looking for, assuming you know? That's another question. Sometimes you travel a thousand miles to discover that what you were lookinh for is around the block.
You won't lose too much time to keep both relationship and job for sixth months, unless you already know the answer to your own question/
