Is Blair withdrawing his troops out of Iraq with Bush is brining more in so Israel can do Bush’s dirty work and bomb Iranian nuclear sites and the British can be out of the south in fear of the Persian Shahab-3 landing in amongst them? Which therefore Bush keeps his word for no military action used in the sanctions that were put on Iran?
Are we seeing the first stages of war ?

This is not new to me. It is coming as expected. Two days before Bush's State of the Union address where he announced the plans for 21,500 additional American troops, the British parliament announced 3,000 British troop reduction for 2007. It was divided into several phases, with the first phase to be carried-out towards the end of February, although it didn't mention at the time how many troops will be pulled-out in the first phase. But the total number of British troop pull-out was announced to be 3,000 for the whole year of 2007, to be done in incremental phases. Then the rest of the remaining British troops will be pulled-out at the end of 2008. So, by 2008 year end, there won't be a single British troop left in Iraq.

I am now saying this because a lot people were caught by surprise today on hearing the news that Blair will shortly soon announce the withdrawal of some British troops from Iraq. As I mentioned above, the total British troop withdrawal is to be completed by the end of 2008. So, never be surprised when the next British announcement happens.

We are seeing a president pushing the limits to his prelude to war to see what democrats will actually do.
At the same time hes attempting to instigate Iran into crossing the line, and justifying the attack he wants to make.

Bush knows democrats would CUT FUNDING immediately if he attacked Iran. So hes not going to do that directly.
He needs a reason, and not even a good one at that.

But more than anything bush is trying to draw attention away from his latest surge by drawing attention to a possible action against iran.
It buys him time...hoping his troop surge shows improvement. this way he can make arguement to continue with the latest plan, should dems try to take action against supplementary budget request in march

james brown downtown,

It's hard to know what politicians are thinking. In politics they say that 'nothing is official until it is officially denied'.
As far as a war, the first stages happened decades ago. And on that front they say 'war is just politics by other means'.
I'm sure that if President Bush wants something destroyed in Iran, he would rather have Isreal do it.
