Really! Do they just forget about it, remember it but ignore it, or don't care once it has been resolved?

Hmmm. I think once it's been resolved, it's not a problem anymore. They don't care for it. It's done. Their minds are too simple.
When my boyfriend and I have a fight and it's been resolved, I can't help but still think about it!!! I always wonder what he thought about it, if it's REALLY resolved, etc. It takes a while for me to stop thinking about it. LOL. I hate being a girl.

I don't think its a guy thing. Its probabaly also true for some women. For Guys one thing is for sure that they are not that emotional, so from outside it might look like they are okay or have forgotten about the earlier fight but they know and just by doing the other routine thing, they feel it will help forget it faster.

the answer is, if you r mad then u will never let us be happy . so if you r satisfied that the fight is over, so r we and we can go back to being guys again ,without having to mined our Ps an Qs and we will never throw a log ,back on a fire that has been put out . some guys r just not happy unless they r fighting ,but some woman r like that to. drama drama drama

The memory span of a male is very short - and once it is over it is over if not there would just be another fight - thank goodness they forget!

Well u shouldn't dwell in da past unless there was physical abuse then u should forget about it..or talk about it....But if it's a little silly fight then u can always let dat go

It's testosterone overload on fight day, they are pretty much spent the next day.
They just don't care if you want to know the truth. They move on. The're not chicks harboring grudges.

They are usually just so grateful to have the fight over that they don't care if it is ever brought up again

Another way girls and dudes are different. Girls hold grudges and tend to dwell on things more, and guys to them once it's done well it's done. It has to do with brain chemicals and all that hormone stuff that guys have.
