i really want to give up being anxious for Lent. not just the normal anxiety, but the terrible anxiety i give myself about the little things. in other words, how can i get rid of my anxiety?!?!

If you could just give it up than you would not have it to begin with. Try finding something to distract yourself ; a new hobby ect..

Better yet give up that anxiety for permanent. Just go lay it at the foot of the cross and ask Jesus to give you his mind.

Have you tried meditation or hypnosis. They can be very effective. Herbal supplements are also excellent for calming anxiety. Good Luck !

you got this wrong, you are supposed to give up something you love, or really really like for lent. try giving up candy or something like that.

relax yourself, "sensually", first thing in the morning. you'll feel too laid-back all day to worry

go see a doctor and see if they think its bad enough to give you something for it. worked for me :)
