My dr. prescribes me tylenol 3 for my menstrual cramps, but I ran out last month. My mom gave me a lortab that says "watson 540", isn't this considered a "5"?

I don't want to be loopy, but I can't live w/these cramps. What does it mean and should I take it?

They are similar. The tylenol is mixed with codine and the loratab is mixed with hydrocodone. They are similar in usage the main difference is strength. The loratab should identify the strength on the lable.
