ISLAMIC CULTURE - If you lived separated from the opposite gender, would you also be super hate-filled?

Imagine a world with feminity stripped out. The very thing that pacifies the savage beast...gone. A world full of testosterone and supressed sexual energy. Imagine it. Now you can only begin to glimpse Islam.

Why do prisons have higher homosexuality rates that world outside? Is it because criminals tend to also be homosexuals? Of course not, its a simple matter of no other opportunity.

Sexual energy is the most powerful driving force in the world, and Islam has harnassed it in the most nefarious way ever conceieved. Even simple-minded leftists cant help seeing the angry visage of raging Muslims when someone says the word "hate". They are synomous. Rage and hate are words that immediately give us the image of a Muslim somewhere burning something or screaming hysterically.

Separate the sexes and then mix give them the quran to fixate upon and an "enemy" to rage upon, and you have world war.

I think you have a point ... or two. It certainly contributes. Islam is not the only movement like that though. Catholicism in the dark and middle ages showed some pretty strange behaviour too.

first of all, dont trust the internet. ur looking at a site called prophet of doom. its antimuslim! second of all, ur reading a translation and the translations have minor differences between people. third, dont just get quotes out of context. fourth, ive read an actual copy and it does not say that. get a text copy from an ISLAMIC bookstore

actually the main reason islam teach it followers seperate if being opposite gender is to avoid sexual interaction,such as kissing or rabbing in public.if a couple already married,it's okay to have sexual interaction,but not in public.are you clear now?

Actually Muslims aren't seperated from the opposite gender - we live with our mothers/fathers/ sisters/brothers/wives/husbands etc - we actually have proper functioning families as oposed to one parent dysfunctional freak shows

The segregation that takes place is from marriagebale members of the opposite sex not family - and in any case this rule varies very widely across Muslim cultures, countries and families

The rage and hate I see is from Christians on their latest atack on another country bombing women and children from the air - Americans are the ones who want war with everyone not the Muslims - first it was Iraq who next Iran ? will Pakistan or Saudi satiate your blood lust ? anytime a US president wants to increase popularity he bombs and kills other people - is that the sign of a healthy nation?

St. Augustine was faithful to the legacy of his predecessors, he wrote to a friend:

"What is the difference whether it is in a wife or a mother, it is still Eve the temptress that we must beware of in any woman......I fail to see what use woman can be to man, if one excludes the function of bearing children."

Centuries later, St. Thomas Aquinas still considered women as defective:

"As regards the individual nature, woman is defective and misbegotten, for the active force in the male seed tends to the production of a perfect likeness in the masculine sex; while the production of woman comes from a defect in the active force or from some material indisposition, or even from some external influence."

Finally, the renowned reformer Martin Luther could not see any benefit from a woman but bringing into the world as many children as possible regardless of any side effects:

"If they become tired or even die, that does not matter. Let them die in childbirth, that's why they are there"
