I'd see if McDonald's still does their parties. That would be good. Chuckie Cheese is a good place for any child to have a party. It's hard when they are that age to find a good place to have a party. Chuckie Cheese would allow them to work off the energy. I'm mom to 3 and I live real near to you..lol.. I'm in Dewitt.

Coming soon in the cold weather? I wouldn't do anything outdoors til summer. I live in Ithaca Michigan, and have an apartment in Grand Rapids, Michigan too. I had my daughter's 2st birthday party at our apartment's banquet hall thingy. If you are or know someone who lives in an aparmtent or mobile home community they usually have halls that you can book and decorate however you want and there's plenty of room for tables to eat at and room for activities. Since they're so young, I'd just get them a clown or something of that nature and some games like pin the tail on the donkey and the "lucky duck" game where they all pick ducks out of a kiddie pool and then an adult draws a lucky number- whoever had the duck with that number wins a prize.

I just took my daughter to chuck e cheese for a birthday party. She is two, and although she had fun, you really gotta watch out for those big kids who try to take stuff from the little ones. I don't know how they are up there, but I live down in Wyandotte, MI, and the kids were rude, and trying to take tokens from a two year old. We went to Ceasar Land, and she had a blast, go to let out all that energy, but I still had a problem with the bigger kids running her over. Try taking them during the week when the bigger kids are still at school. That will help out a lot. Weekends are crazy at those places. What about a YMCA or Rec center?? They usually give you fun ideas and toys to play with. Hope I helped.

When I was that young, if not at home, I'd have a party at the local Rec. center. They'd let us rent out a big room and give us a bunch of really cool stuff to play with...it was really fun!

i don't know where you live in michigan but if you live near Fenton you could go to the imagination station. that's always fun. but your ideas are good too. in traverse city there is a place i don't know what its called of course but they have activities for all ages, or if you have a sports-plex in your area that works well too.
