Greetings. I am writing a book with the intention of inspiring and encouraging people to realize that although God may seem far away and distant, he is actually quite near to us in very real and personal ways. If you have had any encounters with God through miracles, angels or near death experiences, I would be delighted to read your story and perhaps share it with the world. I cannot guarantee that your story will be published, nor can I pay you at this point in time. The goal is to spread hope and awareness in our troubled world. Please send short stories and any questions that you may have to christykanis@yahoo.com. Thank you very kindly for your time.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

I belong to the mormon church. and never regretted it. You may think we are weird polygamous freaks with no tv. but we arent even close.
A visitor in our young womens, came in a couple months ago, she didn't tell us at the time, but she was feeling weak and sick and had gone to the doctor plenty of times. finally she was diagnosed with cancer. But after she started going to church with us, she began to have answers, she was more happy, and you could see the change in her life. After a while she went back to the doctors, and her cancer was completely gone. a pure miracle. she then got baptized and her testimony grew stronger. she is sooo happy, not because of the miracle, but because of the gospel. she is only 15. The most faithful person i have ever seen
My brother had an unfortunate accident while playing with aerosol cans and fire...not exactly smart. the cans had exploded on him, and he had gotten severely burned. we rushed him to the hospital, and the doctors said that if we had brought him a couple of minutes later, he might have died. After getting settled in, we had another problem. none of the medications were working and he was in terrible pain. he is only 12, and so we were scared. finally the bishop at our church came over with some other leaders and gave him a blessing. after that, we were able to find a medication that was working and he was able to rest. And i testify to you that the power of the priesthood is a real thing. i can't tell you how grateful i am for this church. and i know it is true.

I do have many stories about angels, spirits, miracles and God's presence, and what he said to me.... and the many times he kept me alive. I have been thinking of writing a book or two with all the information from my experiences. If you read into my answers, you'll find some stories.

Writing in our way of life is a luxurious. In Bible cases writing replaced right into a potential that no longer many had and it replaced into no longer handy love it relatively is as we communicate. You and that i will bypass to WalMart and via paper and pen besides the undeniable fact that it replaced into no longer relatively common to return via then. it is likewise uncertain that the gospel writers and Paul might have willingly enable themselves be flogged, stoned, beheaded, and crucified for the sake of "making some guy seem holy" in the event that they knew all alongside they have been perpetuating a lie. What did they might desire to income? They weren't gaining wealth, and their purely earthly advantages replaced into persecution. no longer purely that, the gospel message positioned many in others in on the spot danger simply by fact the early church suffered lots persecution inclusive of the slaughter of harmless toddlers. If the gospel is a lie, in line with danger you may clarify how the whole international now knows who Jesus Christ is centuries later based on the writings of a few followers who had no potential of mass communique, little or no training, and have been consistently below the risk of dying as they unfold the information of Jesus Christ. Do you no longer discover it unusual that this small band of adult men without weapons and no military in any comprehend ought to no longer be silenced? it relatively is a miracle the gospel survived in any respect. i've got self belief God has secure His word and nevertheless protects it to this day! <><

I've had NDEs and some interesting stories to accompany them, but I seriously doubt you'd want to hear them because they don't fit in the Christian religion.
