leaving any applience on

leaving water running

taking LONG showers

turning the heat way up

turning the air conditioning way down....... and the list goes on da-da-dum-da-dum-dum

Turn on all the lights in your house all the time and make sure they are the power-wasting incandescent type. You'd be surprised how much electricity those things use: your TV may pull 90 watts, but light bulbs use 60 watts *per bulb*. That adds up very quickly.
