Some kooky spiritual medium woman named JZ Knight believes she's a reincarnation of a 35000 year old Atlantean god named Ramtha. She's created an immense money making machine with her website and "spiritual retreat", bilking thousands, if not millions, of dollars out of unsuspecting people. She was prominently featured in the pseudo-scientific pop nonsense movie, What The Bleep Do We Know, which basically trashed any chance the movie had of being taken seriously.
You'll have to google it yourself, as I refuse to post a link to her site or her wikipedia page, for the sake of common decency.

Ramtha is a 35,000 year-old spirit-warrior who appeared in J.Z. Knight’s kitchen in Tacoma, Washington in 1977.
She has made a lot of money channeling this spirit since then. I have watched her do this and it appears legit.
