They're the typical, small colored ones. I like to leave them on overnight even though it's not Christmas. About how much money would this add to the electricity bill?

Depends on the type. The old big bulbs used to be 5 watts for the smaller bulb and 7 watts for the larger ones... per bulb... and depending on the length of the string, it can add up. A string of 100 7-watt bulbs uses of 700 watts, which probably costs about a nickel an hour, or 50 cents a night.
The newer minilites are a lot cheaper, maybe a couple of cents an hour for a 100 bulb string, and the new LED lights are probably a fraction of that.

no, not that much....I do the same thing! my sister does it too, it just looks so comfy......
