I've been living in Los Angeles for nearly two years, and have started have reservations about living here (the smog, the traffic, the insane amount of distance between everything, the people, etc.).
With these reservations have come decisions to whether or not I should move. I don't want to just uproot, move and then find myself unsatisfied in another two years.
Have I given L.A. a decent enough chance, or should I stick it out for another year of misery?

This really isn't a relationships question, but two years should be long enough to decide if you like a particular location or not. If you have had a lot of negative experiences in that location and don't like the atmosphere, then you probably would want to consider moving.

two years is long enough. you need to take inventory of what it is you hate about the city and what, if anything, you like of it. if your hates outnumber your likes then you have your answer.
the next time, make your choices based on how you can realize your potential in the city, as opposed to what the city can do for you. it takes a bit of research to do that, but you'll be a lot happier wherever you move once you do that ...

It took you 2 years to see that? LA had it's time. Now it's just another dreary old place.
Maybe it's like girls, some you like instantly, some it takes a bit to break through and some, well, you're just knocking your head against the wall...

Although it does have it's faults it's also a very beautiful area to live. Try doing everything you can, act like a tourist, and you'll appreciate it more.

If you feel overly stressed..figure out why. Is it related to the living conditions in the city or just your job?
Life is shortened by stresses. Be happy...follow your heart.
