I lost nine pounds eating subway veggie delites for a month.

Atkins, I've been on it for 3 years and lost 40 pounds, but have plateaued so I'm exercising more now. I eat a lot of the things I like so long as they are low in carbs. After awhile you don't even crave the bread products.

I would select whatever diet you can stick with. That's the problem. I know people who love bread and potatos and could not go low carb, but they can gom low fat and that works for them Like with exercising, go with something you love and can stick with. What helps for me is not obsessing over every detail. I try to just do it because if I think it through I might not.

Also remember portion control, as long as you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose weight.

I called it diet #36....for many reasons...cut out all junk food..all processed sugars and carbs..out the window they went..lots of fresh fruit, fresh vegies, white meat chicken..smaller portion sizes...lots of water and iced tea..w/o sugar...and tons of cardio..5-6 days a week...started memorial day and have lost 25+/- pounds...now am trying to maintain...which means not eating that stuff now either..have pretty much lost my sweet tooth and that makes it easier....
