Has anyone noticed that the people who put anti-hunting questions either accuse hunters of being gay or in their other non-hunting questions and answers will put anti-gay questions/comments?
My question is why?
It is not 100% but it happens very often.
Really given most hunters rural background and conservative views you would not think that anti-hunters make more anti-gay comments but they do.

Well Unc, I haven't really noticed this trend you describe but if I may venture a guess...

By and large hunters are a secure bunch and don't have to level infantile insults at others. Anti-hunters are not as secure and find comfort in insulting others. That is my best guess.

Why Liberals Hate America

1) Because it is not socialistic enough for them to be able to sit around in coffee houses smoking and trying to use their college degrees in "poetry," "communications," and "womyns studies."
They find that there is just no market for "economic poets," "transgender engineers" and "fecal perfomance artists," and so they must begrudgingly work for "the man." They hate America because they cannot compete in the real world with real ideas.

2) Because most of them are uninterested in actually solving real problems for good; they are only interested in the "democritization of misery." They do not wish to elevate anyone to a better life, they only wish to bring those who have a better life down to an equal level with everyone else; All cornstalks MUST be at the same level, even if it means cutting the heads off of the best growing ones.

3) They believe that most Americans (the "great unwashed") are just too stupid to understand their so-called "progressive" ideology which is nothing more than a thinly-veiled Stalinism. They know "what's good for you."

If you putt from the rough its your business. I work with a guy who came out of the closet last year. I sat and ate lunch with this guy and talked family, politics and even helped him work on his vintage Chevy Impala a couple of times. I befriended him long before the lifestyle change.

Now a lot of people shun the guy and act differently towards him. Well guess what? I still eat lunch with him and I even gave him advice one day about leaving an abusive partner. I can't live his life for him. He does his own thing. I don't care for it but we have an agreement. He doesn't hit on me and I don't hit him. Works out great.

I hunt and yet I do not bash or go looking to give trouble to homosexuals. I pick and choose my fights. And I don't have time enough in this life to waste it picking on gays.

So no..... Being a hunter does not make you anti-gay.

It's because society tells them from birth that if your "macho" (God I ******* hate that word) you must be trying to make up for a deficiency of manhood, because "real men" are sensetive, nice, cry at poetry readings, etc. This is because since the 1960's a very strong segment of the socialist elite have tried to erase the differences between genders. You may have noticed how all of a sudden, women are equal to men in physical strength in movies and TV shows, and if not, far exceed men in cunning. So the guys who buy into the sensetive, tame, sedate, socialized man idea need a way to explain why they are so different from us, normal men. Deciding we're all gay is an easy way to explain to themselves why they are not like us.

That is because people who are anti-hunting, anti-Second Amendment are at a level of emotional and sexual insecurity and question.

While these people claim that firearm owners, hunters, and recreational shooters are "compensating" for "size" or sexuality with their firearms, the anti's are truly lashing out because of their own deficiency and insecurity. The male anti's lack testosterone and have a heightened level of estrogen, while the anti women are the opposite. This leads to sexual insecurity as they try to convince themselves they are straight and attempt to prove it by lashing out at homosexuals. Yet on the other hand, they lack the psychological and emotional maturity of pro-gun politically conservative males and females, and lash out at hunters and the Second Amendment to the Constitution because they believe everyone is as immature and incapable of making rational decisions and choices as they are. The result is an often unrelenting barrage of non-sense rants against hunting, firearms, and gays.

Because the anti-hunting anti gun group are childish and never have a decent reason for why they hate guns and hunting...
They resort to calling someone homosexual or hick or nut job because they never have a decent logical response.
The typical anti seems to have about a 5th grade mentality and name calling in grade school made them cool ..So it must still be cool now.

After trying to talk to numerous anti's just to see their views, I have found that they are too radical, hysterical, close-minded and ignorant to converse with and will use any bit of info they think is helpful. They will accuse hunters of being any sort of derogatory thing just to make themselves seem superior.

I think you're right - and I think it has a lot to do with today's society. In todays' world, hunting to most people means finding a good bargain at whatever mall they are in. With so much food being readily available today, the concept of hunting seems antiquated and downright wierd. People (city-folk), want to look down on hunters as backwoods, ignorant hillbillies that can't afford to buy food so they have to kill to eat. Or, they look at hunters as being inadequate in some other part of their lives, and need to kill something weaker than themselves to feel strong. Or the power in a firearm or arrow that is making up for some kind of shortcoming. Or yet the idea of taking any big buck (any kind of antlered critter) to say they killed the big boy and mounted his big rack on the wall, again, to make up for some shortcoming. I could get Freudian about this for hours, but its the same thing no matter how I word it. It's about dominance and power to many non-hunters, to be superior to another. Or thats part of the urban opinion. To most of them, gay is the only real explanation for it, because thats whats in their society. If you do something strange or whatever, there's a good chance you're gay. Or some kind of crap like that - I think now I'm just rambling. What I'm getting at is; hunting is not gay - its a primal instinct. It's mans' DNA code telling him to be a hunter/gatherer like we used to centuries ago. Its as natural as a woman giving birth (not saying thats what womens jobs in life are - mine makes more money than me). Hunting is also a health conscious choice in todays world. All the granola junkies and the health freaks don't want to admit it, but killing a wild animal is one of the best ways to eat and fuel your body. Deer meat is much healthier than beef, like a wild boar is compared to an oinker on a farm. Killing a wild turkey is healthier than eating some growth-hormone chicken from Tyson. Again, I could go on and on.
So to sum up my rant.......I think anti-hunters just don't get it. They never will either, as long as they live in their suburban worlds with all the shopping you could ever dream of and their idea of getting out in the country means taking the interstate to another town. Of course, they never consider the fact that they buy a steak or chicken breast sandwich somewhere, and they are advocating killing poor, cute and inoccent animals. And how manly is it to field-dress a fresh kill? To be up to your elbows in blood and guts? You won't see someone 'gay' doing that!
