Unless you have something serious showing up on your credit report like a judgement, or if someone else is using your credit, it's relatively simple to fix your credit.
Pay everything ontime, pay up your balances, don't open any new cards, and don't let anyone pull your credit.

You can fix it for free by correcting it yourself. The debt repair companies do the same things you can do for free if you do them yourself. I've checked out a few sites and books and have found the site below to be the most informative (and free without strings attached).
