So me and my boyfriend finally hung out and we haven't for a pretty long time..2 weeks or so..i guess thats not that long..alright I sound like a pathetic loser but anyways! so he told me "I love being around you. It makes me so happy. You're the only person I can be myself around and feel comfortable about it." It was really unexpecting because I've never really heard him say things like that to me before. We've been together for two years. I really like him a lot. But how do you know the difference between like and love? I know time will tell..but is there any signs that show that someone is falling into love with you? Any little little signs...? We care about eachother a lot. We have been inseperable...so what exactly is going on? How do you know when a guy has "real" feelings and he isn't just fishing for whatever sounds good and will make her happy?

That is the question of the century, and truly, no one can ever really know what a man is thinking, or what he means when he speaks!! That is when trust and honesty come in to the picture, and when your heart is liable to be broken.
If you have been together for 2 years, I would say that you mean more to him than just friendship and more than someone he is just "fishing for something to say" to. And I know this about guys (I'm pretty old. Me and guys go WAY back...!) -- when guys feel comfortable around you, it's usually a pretty good thing! When they can tell you about it, it's even better.
There is no real way to tell "like" from "love" -- most of the time "like" kind of just morphs into "love" and you don't even realize it when it happens. But is really is great when it does. If you like being with him, and vice versa, then enjoy your time, and don't worry so much about definitions.
Worrying can cause tension that will just create more problems! Relax and enjoy each other. Let the trust build and things will grow all on their own.

Okay hun, the first sign that he might love you is that hes been with you for 2 years. No guy will stick around for that long if hes just fishing around. He hasnt cheated on you, theres another sign, for the fact that hes comfortable around you also is another sign. Just dont rush anything let it all go smoothly. Good Luck.

After 2 years together you should know him better than that. It sounds to me like he has real feelings for you. Listen to him and then watch his actions. Does he treat you like you are special? Does he treat you with respect? If he takes your feelings into consideration in all that he does, treats you like you are a special person and makes you feel totally at ease, I'd say you are falling in love . Then again, only the 2 of you know what you feel inside for sure.
